Who is this course for?
This event is for people who would like to learn more about Self Reliant Groups (SRGs). It will cover:
What is an SRG? How is it different from a community group?
Who are SRGs for?
What can SRGs do? How can you help a group to identify a purpose?
What can you do to support SRGs (space, a business need, skills, equipment, facilitators)
What do you want the SRG to achieve?
What will I learn and get out of the course?
Hopefully, you’ll come away from the day with more information and practical advice on setting up or supporting an SRG.
What can I expect on the day?
The session will be 4 hours. It’ll be an informal, friendly session with lots of opportunity to ask questions.
